Thanksgiving trip to Tampa

We spent 2 nights in Tampa visiting Mom for the holiday, but didn’t take the motorhome due to the length of the trip.
The weather was beautiful and sunny, with cool nights.
We did some Black Friday shopping and also went through a few RV parks in the Tampa area.  We prefer state parks when we are just on a trip but wanted to check out some parks for full time living.
This is a nice park in Crystal River Florida, just north of Tampa. It’s fairly close to the gulf. It’s pretty full now with all the snowbirds.

Some sites were on a little canal that lead to the Gulf of Mexico.

There were a few cute cabins.

Also in Crystal River, Florida.  This is a nice town.  There is a lot to do and plenty of restaurants and shopping but not as crowded as Tampa.

This park was also very full with snowbirds. They have sites for sale, or you can rent by the night, week, or month

  1. Great info on those parks. They both look good to me. Hopefully after Christmas we can get out and check out other parks.

What did you decide about the camera?

The pains I had with Lipitor were maybe more like soreness throughout most of my body - mainly hips, back, legs. It would make me very uncomfortable during the night and I had trouble getting up out of a chair or off a couch. I am going to get a PCP here in FL and see if I can get on something other than Lipitor. I feel soooo much better being off Lipitor.

Hopefully I'll get time tomorrow to check out those websites you sent to me. Thanks for sending those.
